Colour Feng Shui, Book Shelf Styling and AI art

#1

Our whole house has just been repainted and I’ve literally been sitting around watching paint dry. So here’s a Feng Shui tip for choosing paint colours.

The safest colours for decorating your home are peaceful colours found in nature. The best colours to use around your home depend on your energy map. For example, the bright colour red can stir up unwanted energy, so avoid using it in big expanses, like walls and large pieces of furniture.

The entire ground floor of my house is painted in Porter’s Paints Mist and I love it so much. It’s such a soothing soft shade of blue without being overwhelming.

I’ve been doing some styling work lately and just ordered this really simple clear lucite book stand on Amazon that I love! It holds the book open at the page you want to show and gives it a little height without looking chunky. Would highly recommend.

"The task that generative A.I. has been most successful at is lowering our expectations, both of the things we read and of ourselves when we write anything for others to read. It is a fundamentally dehumanizing technology because it treats us as less than what we are: creators and apprehenders of meaning. It reduces the amount of intention in the world."
- Ted Chiang, "Why A.I. Isn't Going to Make Art" in the New Yorker

The pic above is of Hubert de Givenchy’s Chateau in France. The books, the ceilings and beams, the art. I just love it all. More images of the house here.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time,

p.p.s If you like what you read and think others might too, please hit that forward button and share the love. I always try to make them long enough to be interesting, actionable and valuable but short enough so you don’t get overwhelmed. Enjoy!
