Garden Life Goals, The Perfect White Paint, and Heat up, Feet up

#1

I broke my ankle this week so I’ve basically been sitting on the couch vicariously living through other peoples lives on instagram and dreaming of walking outside. That’s when I found this garden in the Southern Highlands. It’s a 26 acre rural retreat by Secret Gardens in East Kangaloon and might be close to perfect. The stone fences, the rolling hills, the kitchen garden, the fire pit and dining area. Life goals right there.

One of the most asked questions for an interior designer is what colour white should I use. So here is my 2 cents: Popcorn by Porter’s Paints. It’s perfectly neutral, and reads as a pure warm white in a space without turning it cold.

Dinners at the moment need to be low fuss, healthy and fast so I can keep the the hopping up and down my kitchen to a minimum. It’s honestly driving me nuts. So dinner is either from Dinner Ladies(their tag line is literally “heat up, feet up”) or something from this cookbook. I love following @deliciouslyella on instagram and can’t recommend her cookbook highly enough.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time,
