Selling Houses, Princesses and Just Starting The Thing.

It might sound a little strange saying this as an interior designer but in my next house I have decided I will start designing the garden FIRST. Before I even begin to think about occasional chairs and paint samples. Why? Because a well established garden, with lush plants and bigger trees increases the value of the home. But all that takes time to grow. 

I also just find outdoor furniture so wonderful to plan and specify, and maybe it’s the romantic in me but the idea of spending lazy hours outside with my boys and a glass of wine in the Summer seems like middle-aged bliss. 

And if it can look like something Ian Baker has created then even better (pic above). His instagram tips for the home gardener are also excellent.

If you were a fan of The Princess Diaries growing up you will be thrilled to hear that Anne Hathaway is back and she doesn’t care what you think about her (listen to his podcast interview with her). I HIGHLY recommend using your Amazon Prime subscription to watch her latest movie “The Idea of You”. I recently watched it on a girls weekend away with a group of school mums. One started to cry. Two of us had come back to watch it for a 2nd time because we loved it so much. And all of us immediately Googled more info about Nicholas Galitzine.
